BeeBee & Leaf Wraps

BeeBee & Leaf wraps are British made vegan and beeswax food wraps that offer consumers a reusable alternative to clingfilm and single-use plastic.  Perfect for wrapping sandwiches, bread, fruit and vegetables as well as covering bowls and jars too. They can be washed in cold, soapy water, reused for a year, and as a natural product they can be returned to earth at the end of their life.

Kath Austin started the BeeBee & Leaf journey in 2016, while on maternity leave with her second child. She was looking for a planet friendly and practical way of storing homemade bread, and when a friend suggested beeswax food wraps, she started researching how they were made and making wraps at home. After many months of testing different oils and fabrics she finally came up with the BeeBee beeswax wraps secret formulation, and launched the brand to the market in her Etsy shop in April 2017.

The response was huge and over the next year Kath launched her own website, and took on a small team to help her in her home town of Cambridge. She also decided that BeeBee wraps should be led by design, making wraps that both have a positive environmental impact and make people happy! This brought about a redesign and the launch of the colourful, exclusive prints and packaging that are a key part of the range today.

The past couple of years have been very busy for BeeBee & Leaf with highlights including working with Sky on one of their ‘Sky Ocean Rescue’ products, moving to a bigger ‘BBHQ’, and appearing on the UK’s Dragons Den. With the launch in 2020 of the plant-based vegan wrap and the new BeeBee & Leaf logo, it looks like there are no plans to slow down!
